Khmer Statue - Apsara Angel

Khmer Apsaras are divinity and celestial dancers. Apasaras would perform their dances before the throne of Khmer Kings. This statue is a reproduction from the ones in Angkor Wat, Cambodia.
We have been fortunate enough to partner with uniquely talented stone carvers in Ayutthaya, Thailand who proudly seek to honor the art work and architecture of the Khmer people. I am sure you will notice that these pieces are of excellent craftsmanship while also staying true to the beauty of Khmer style. The artisans who sculpted the Apsara statue are also doing restoration work in Angkor Wat.
